There is so much to see when we observe people and see events unfold around us. The same is true of nature. For me, nature is where my mind's eye travels for inspiration, because I've always thought that in nature great humour and joy mingle with calculating darkness. I share my observations through work that aims to stir the emotions of the viewer through a range of expressions, movement, and the subtle details that often escape our attention. I enjoy creating work that captures a wide audience from young children to adults. When works of art bring generations together to share a laugh, an observation or prompt them to mull over a thought, there is real magic to be experienced. My preferred medium of work is watercolour and ink, but I also use digital painting depending on the project and the desired look.
